TEXAS PECAN-STUFFED DATES

12 Texas Pecan halves, toasted

12 Medjool dates, pitted

12 pieces of bacon, partially cooked, drained

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Stuff a pecan half inside a date and wrap with a piece of bacon.  Secure with a toothpick if necessary. You may prepare up to this point and refrigerate if you want. Bake for 30 minutes, or until bacon is cooked fully.  Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
